Dieses Ensemble zeigt eine klassische Kombination aus Chemise, Schnürbrust und Jupe (Petticoat) und bildet die textile Basis für ein historisches Hochzeitskleid im Stil des Rokoko.

Schnürbrust und Jupe wurden aus einem traditionellen Toile-de-Jouy gefertigt, dessen charakteristische Musterung dem Set eine elegante, zugleich authentische Anmutung verleiht. Die Chemise sorgt als unterste Schicht.

Unter dem Petticoat wird ein Pannier getragen,  ein seitlich ausgestellter Reifrock, der dem Ensemble seine charakteristische Breite verleiht. Diese Konstruktion formt die ikonische Silhouette des Hochrokoko, die insbesondere durch ihre horizontale Ausdehnung und repräsentative Wirkung bekannt ist.

In ihrer Gesamtheit fungiert diese Zusammenstellung als funktionale Unterkleidung, die Form, Volumen und Linienführung des darüber getragenen Kleides maßgeblich bestimmt – ein essenzieller Bestandteil historischer Gewandkonstruktion.

This ensemble presents a classic combination of chemise, stays, and jupe (petticoat), forming the textile foundation for a historical wedding gown in the Rococo style.

The stays and jupe are made from traditional Toile de Jouy, whose characteristic pattern lends the set both elegance and an authentic appearance. The chemise, worn as the innermost layer.

Beneath the petticoat, a pannier is worn, a side-hooped structure that gives the ensemble its distinctive width. This construction creates the iconic high Rococo silhouette, particularly known for its horizontal expansion and its striking, representative presence.
